We are looking for resident physicians for our hospitals in Lycksele, Skellefteå, and Umeå. Our three hospitals and locations each have their own character.

• Lycksele is a smaller regional hospital in the inland of Norrland with short decision-making paths and a well-functioning collaboration with various professions and clinics. It offers a cozy small-town environment and is close to everything. Lycksele is located between the coast and the mountains, with immediate access to untouched nature with wild rivers and deep forests, without compromising on the service and amenities that city life offers. In the newly built 20-story cultural center Sara, you can enjoy theater performances, music entertainment, and other cultural experiences. • Norrlands University Hospital (NUS) in Umeå provides specialized care to residents of the four northernmost counties, and research is central. The city has a rich variety of activities and culture. You will find an intense nightlife both near the campus area at NUS and in the city center, while relaxing nature experiences are always close regardless of the district. JOB DESCRIPTION

As a resident physician with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure. You will participate in everyday healthcare, and the work is carried out under personal supervision by specialist physicians and resident physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

A medical degree by the time of employment is required. Other qualifications may include other relevant education, previous work experience, any specialization, and local connections. Special consideration will be given to personal qualities and ability to collaborate.

Applicants with education from the EU/EES must have good knowledge of the Swedish language. Applicants with foreign education (outside the EU) must have permission from the National Board of Health and Welfare to do residency in Sweden and must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, corresponding to level C1. OTHER INFORMATION

Salary: Lycksele 39,500 SEK, Skellefteå 38,500 SEK, Umeå 37,500 SEK. Temporary positions after medical degree and dissertation provide a certain supplement.

All locations offer a two-week introduction followed by clinical placements. The residency coordinators collaborate to recruit for all hospitals in the county.
